Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) is served by many domestic and international airlines, and resides on the far northeast of the Italian mainland. Named after famous explore Marco Polo, this facility now comfortably sits within the top five busiest airports in Italy, with passenger numbers being similar to those of Il Caravaggio International (in nearby Milan) and predicted to soon top nine million per annum.

Passengers will find one main modern terminal building, featuring state-of-the-art facilities spread over a total of three different levels. The arrivals area is based on the ground floor, while the first floor is home to the departures area and its check-in desks, which number around 70. This floor also features a couple of airside lounges and departure lounges. The third floor contains the airline's offices and is used for administration purposes.

The largest selection of onward destinations is provided by airlines such as Air One, easyJet and Volotea, which between them cover more than 40 destinations, including Bari, Brindisi, Crotone, Lamezia, Naples, Olbia, Reggio, Rome, Sardinia and Sicily in Italy.
